Is it a good idea for an aspiring entrepreneur to acquire the basics of finance from a textbook? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I am in need of acquiring finance fundamentals, and I imagined that following a course's resources or a textbook could aid me in building technical knowledge. The issue is that I'm not sure how actually useful it could be, nor if it is worth the time.

For reference, the course from which I drew inspiration was MIT's 15.401 Finance Theory I, but I'd like to study more or less the same material through Principles of Corporate Finance.

I am aware of the opportunity costs this might have with respect to finishing a bunch of non-fiction business/finance books or a wholly different online course.
