My site was recently hacked. It's now been fixed, but as a result I'm getting a stack of 404 errors in the search console for a directory created by the hack that has since been deleted.
Should I just ignore these 404 errors and request another indexing? Or should I create a redirect?
Further to this: If I create a directory on my site that I want hidden from crawlers, how can I achieve this?
