Hello, we are redoing our site and transfering hosts, and i'm not sure about setting up the google analytics.
A company set up the foundation for our our new site, and we just added the content. So right now it's still on their server: oursite.theirsite.com.
I want to put in the code for analytics before going live, but I'm not sure how. Would I use the same code that's on the old site since it will be the same domain? My only concern is that most of our pages will be different, so I'm not sure if that will register automatically and change to the new pages when the site goes live. Or should I just create a new "proptery" in analytics and get a new code for the redesigned site before going live?
Thanks!
