How dangerous is it to build your business on an existing product? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

The need for my company's products exist and do well because of another company's product. I make social media tools. So if Instagram or YouTube is shut down, I'm left hanging and no one will use my product. Their polices also affect what I can do. Similarly with the apps I make, I am making an assumption App Store will still be there tomorrow.

How dangerous is this and how do you circumvent this problem?
