Link building client doesn't want me to mention their company in my portfolio earn by blogging adsense income

Hey guys,

Facing a bit of a dilemma here, could use some advice.

I specialise in white hat link building (via email outreach), and I've just taken on a new client starting next week.

The contract I sent over states that I may use the work I do for them in my portfolio, but they're asking me to change it as, apparently, attributing the brand with a link building service will make them "look bad".

I can somewhat understand the feeling there, but everything I'm doing is completely above board. I don't use shady tactics and every link is built on real blogs as a result of building real relationships.

Obviously these case studies are a big deal for new prospects, so I'm very reluctant to give this up when I feel it isn't even justified.

What should I do? Just swallow it... or stand my ground?
