I want to help people! How can I profiteer from this ? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hey guys

I work in the plant hire industry and have looked after specialist plant for the last 7 years.

My website idea is first and foremost to help people. Other hire companies and end users / customers.

There are many different manufacturers and not all hire companies will stock every manufacturer or model. My website is (hopefully) going to suggest the perfect machine for their specific task! None biased advice on which machine would be right for them.

Most hire companies will recommend a machine they run which may not do the job as well as a product they don't. I hope to eradicate that.

Obviously I work within this industry so occasionally I may be recommending a product the company I work for doesn't run so how can I profiteer from helping people ? As I'm only suggesting the perfect machine but not pointing them to the company that runs it should I look at making money from advertising / affiliating ?

Any advice on how to approach this ? Should I wait till the site starts getting more and more hits before approaching hire companies ?
