What Software to use for a small club ? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

First off thank you for taking the time long time lurker here.

I am looking at setting up a Private club and have not managed to find a good way to manage the admin side.

The best I could think of is a Google Docs but I also need to keep track of the expiry dates of memberships.

All of the other options appear to be managed online via 3rd party's.

Does anybody have experience with using a certain program?

Or is Excel or Google docs my best bet ?
