My buddy has a subscription business that he has owned/operated for the last 1.5 years. Nothing big (netting under 2k/month), but it is essentially decent passive income.
I proposed the thought to partner up, mostly because I have substantial experience with large corporations, logistics, distribution, sourcing, and scaling.
What would be the thoughts of Reddit entrepreneurs on the split structure? Take in mind that his business has been solely developed by him to this point. Thus I am basically coming in and assuming a % of the business, while offering my expertise. FYI, this is a retail business.
I was thinking something along the lines of 33/66. This seems fair because he will still be putting in the majority of the leg-work, however scaling it and growing it will take a considerable amount of time and guidance on my end.
