High Bounce Rate, But Not Sure Why earn by blogging adsense income

My analytics are giving some odd results that I'm not sure how to figure out.

Firstly, I have about 4,000 users a month, with about 12,000 page views.

But the bounce rate jumped up considerably a few months ago. It was always around 62% or so, which I think is high in the first place. But now it's been hovering around 74% or so.

Time on site is just under 3 minutes.

The other odd thing is that page load time is reporting as 13 seconds, even though when I load it, it is very fast—certainly not 13 seconds.
