Subscription based company owners: Do you bill recurring on the day they signed up or bill everyone on the 1st of the month? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I'm curious if dealing with prorating and having everyone billed on the 1st makes things easier for managing customers or if it doesn't make a difference. Thoughts?
