Does Google crawl pages it can't navigate to via another page? earn by blogging adsense income

I'm working on a website that has a ton of published articles with placeholder text. They cannot be accessed on any other page of the website. You can only see the articles by going directly to the url. Is it okay to leave these placeholder articles or should I delete them? Does Google crawl and index pages that aren't accessible via the website?
