I'm working on a website that would primarily sell our brand new software (an ERP product geared towards stock inventory). Maybe also some related services as well.
On the other hand, I intend to post a lot of information from another niche (GDPR compliance) that will be useful to our potential clients (entrepreneurs, managers). However it is a completely different niche. We do know however that our upcoming articles are valuable and will be appreciated.
Would you do this, OR stay completely on-topic to the software only? (and maybe make a second site for the second topic)
I'm worried about relevance dilution (lower ranking as this is a mixed subject website), but on the other hand this could help get fresh links and significant traffic to the website.
What is your own experience in similar cases?
