Partnering up on a Blog. Need your wisdom entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hey guys,

Quick question here.

So my friend & I each own our own business. We both do digital marketing.

We realized we complemented skills & decided that we should start a blog as well as a FB group.

The plan is to Grow that site up, so it helps people. And ofcourse in return we would link to our separate businesses on the blog so people can find our personal sites and hire us from there.

So the blog/FB group would be the platform to share our knowledge and drive traffic to our personal businesses.

Having said that.

How do I avoid a traditional partnership with my friend? I'm always scared of things that involve some sort of partnership.

What guidelines should we put in place when managing this blog & FB group together so we won't step on each other toes and make everything a smooth process.

Ideally I want to make the blog/FB group almost as independent as possible where we are both working independently minding our own business but just on the same blog/platform & growing it together. So I'm not in his way and he's not in mine...if that makes sense

Any tips?
