SEO for a very narrow niche market earn by blogging adsense income

Hi everyone, i hope i'm posting in the right place, i'm looking for help and advice regarding SEO for my site biodomes.eu

I've been trying to improve my ranking for keywords like "eco homes" and "sustainable house" by buying backlinks and targeted trafic, but those methods didn't seem to work. I understand that ranking high on google for such specific keywords takes a lot of time but i'm not sure where to start since i can't afford at this time hundreds and thousand of $ for professionals. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
