I am considering starting a business that capitalizes on the great number of tourists that come through my small hometown in the Australian Wheatbelt.
Currently, the amount of tourists coming to our town is largely due to a natural landmark but the businesses in town are not getting business from all these people who are coming to our town. I have also noticed that a lot of the locals do nothing but complain about the situation and as a result, little progress is made. Because of this, I can see an untapped market.
Does anyone here have experience in selling to tourists, and if so, what products/services were you selling?
