Why isn't this an app? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

So I was thinking of a service in my marketing Class and it dawned on me; there should be an app that people can use for freelance local lessons and classes. It would start small with categories like sports, music, and education. As long as the rates are cheap enough and there is enough incentive for users I really can't see a single thing wrong with this idea. Let's say I wanted to teach skateboard lessons I would register and offer lessons at a local skatepark or if I knew photography I could offer 20-30$ per hour lessons. IT'S LIKE UBER FOR TEACHING I understand the marketing in this would be very difficult as it needs a million users in every major city atleast
