Domain name help - I can't get the .com - what is my next best alternative? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

For obvious reasons I cannot mention the name yet, but let's say it's something similar to 'thelogoshop'

.com is unavailable and after reading tons of internet forums and articles and such I'm torn between:

1) to keep 'thelogoshop' short and true to the brand name, but use .net, .org or one of the .design, .biz, etc.

2) keep a .com name but have to add a word, like f.e. 'thelogoshopstudio' or 'thelogoshopofficial' or something of the sorts

Or is there a third way I'm not seeing here?
