What's the best platform for a forum, blog and t shirt site? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi guys, I've drawn up a business plan to start a site that includes a forum for discussion, a blog on which I post articles around my niche and feature guest authors, and a clothing brand for this niche. I've thought about trying to start this site on Shopify, but I'm not sure how much freedom in web design Shopify gives you - can I implement a forum and blog on their platform, or do I need to simply buy hosting and build the site from scratch?
