Sharing my 7 figure sales pitch framework including the psychology behind it. entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

It's my job to figure out what stands between my client's products and money. In 11 years I've found out that it's consistently this---does the offer say what the prospect needs to hear in order for him to make a purchase?

Ask yourself this same question. Without selling anything here I'm going to break down the structure of a sales pitch that i've converted into a letter, webinar, sales page and even email sequence.

The medium isn't what's important, its the psychology behind it.

Here's the letter and below I'll share the framework. Bear in mind that I have used this to offer $100k team training, $250k +10% royalty consulting and even a $10 ebook.

Sales pitch: "Chris’ case was pretty pathetic.

Like most entrepreneurs, his primary goal was to build a business that would give him freedom, wealth, control and respect.

While those at the top were getting the fame, buying new homes, taking their families on lavish vacations and basking in the respect of their peers–Chris had only found stress, overwhelm and uncertainty.

As the weeks and months went by, he watched as others seem to get easily what’s he’d been spinning his wheels trying to grasp for so long.

Do you know what it’s like to work hard but your business not growing as fast as you want? Others may not know but you, yourself know deep down that you can do better.

That’s the insidious thing about relying on common-sense to grow a business.

Common-sense will get you common results but wisdom is the elevator the best entrepreneurs ride to the top.

Removing as much uncertainty as possible is how the best get better.

Sometimes of course there are things you can’t control and resources you wish you had.

But usually its because you don’t know how to find and attract a constant stream of paying customers.

It may be that your business strategy isn’t focused on the activities that will bring the biggest results in a short time.

Often those who aren’t the market leaders lack proven business growth systems like high converting sales pages, back end sequences or cash generating campaigns.

Its an interesting thing that there is a little known path that the ambitious entrepreneurs have taken to get from where they are to where they want to be.

Tech startup founders, online business owners and million dollar internet marketers follow these secrets.

  1. Attract highly qualified leads.(Their focus is on the quality not just the number of leads.)

  2. Know what to say to turn that lead into a paying customer.

  3. Set up marketing funnels and sales sequences to make money not just with the first transaction but also three, four and sometimes multiple times later.

  4. Deploy behavior based campaigns that increase customer lifetime value, reactivate old customers and attract joint ventures with potential partners.

That’s it. I just gave you the playbook.

Your success has more to do with how you think than what you sell.

  1. Start with a story that your audience can empathize or connect with. If speaking to engineers, you can talk about how sometimes a missing semi-colon can keep you up all night and make you rewrite code that you shouldn't.(I've been there. lol)

  2. Talk about their biggest desires or the biggest pain they would like to remove. For my audience, they really hate to be working so hard and stuck at the same place even though they know they have a good product/service. They really hate that others keep passing them by even though they know more.

  3. Offer solutions that they can use immediately. In my case I share the 4 steps that have worked for me and other consultants and professional services providers.

  4. Add social proof either by showing testimonials or some metrics about the kind of clients you have worked with.

  5. Show proof if you can but if you have no proof you can show, then use a demo of your product.

  6. Use urgency and scarcity if you can. These two psychological triggers can make you a lot of money because for some reason humans are susceptible to them fairly easily.

That's it.

You can use this in a face to face pitch, video ad, webinar, ebook or sales page. I try not to mention my business on Reddit so it's more for the education than the selling.
