I recently launched a blog to provide advice, product recommendations, and fun stuff aimed at dog lovers. My background is in website design and development so I’m a one person show as of right now. I’m focused on writing good content, growing my social audience and email list, and increasing traffic at the moment. I’ve only monetized via affiliate links to Amazon so far but may consider ads in the future.
My ultimate goal is that once I establish the blog more and have a good amount of traffic, I will begin to sell my own products. These will most likely be private labeled, easy thing to sell like poop bags, toys, collars, etc.
I’m looking for feedback on the site strategy, how I can grow, what might be missing from the site, and just general advice on how to succeed. Thanks!
