We have an established restaurant/bar site and has recently created a website for the catering side of their business. The purpose is to build a brand around their catering and contain the menus and catering content within that site. The catering site is linked from the navigation of the restaurant site, and I was leaning towards just building citations around the restaurant site however I am not sure if this will help in creating exposure for the catering side of things because I want the catering URL to show up in the local pack for catering searches.
Should I build citations for both separately, or just the main site? There is a lot of conflicting info online, and none of the examples I have found are applicable to this situation. Any thoughts or experiences with this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
