Does anyone have experience with issuing bail bonds?
We just had to pay $1,000 to get my brother in law out of the slammer. Initially, I thought that you had to put up 10% as a deposit and the bondsman took a fee.
I have now learned that they keep that 10%. It got me thinking that would be a great business to build up some capital for less...scummy... ventures.
Has anyone here had experience in the bail bond business? Is it as terrible as I imagine?
