Duplicate page with slightly different text based on location. earn by blogging adsense income

I have a site that requires some minor changes in the wording of the content based on the viewers location. One of the words that needs changing appears in the page title.

Can anyone tell me how this might effect SEO?

To give context to this problem: Readers in one English speaking country require a set of unique content because there are certain words used in the existing content that can be considered confusing in their dual meaning.

Unfortunately, my client is resistant to changing the wording globally because some of the terms used are synonymous with their branding in other parts of the world.

Any assistance in predicting how this might effect SEO are welcome.
