Okay, so I’ve seen both schools of thought posted here multiple times, and I figured we could try to open a discussion about pop ups on websites to collect emails.
“Everybody hates pop-ups” is what I hear frequently, then I see a post about how you’re losing thousands of $ if you don’t have the pop-ups with data to prove it.
What do you guys think?
Are pop-ups good ways to collect leads?
Should you offer a discount, giveaway, shopping spree, etc. or just hope that they join in the expectation that you provide quality content?
Do you collect emails in another way on your site?
