Long story short, someone works for me and I like being the nice boss. That means that I am not cold, not I necessarily keep the distance since I feel like a friendly environment is more "productive". After only a few days, my first worker is starting to ask questions about the guidelines and trying to change them. Nevermind the fact he never worked in this field before and he has zero experience.
Then he comes with his insight, which is kinda stupid because he has no idea what he is saying. When I hired someone who is entry level, I expected someone who can follow directions.
Not to mention that when I pointed out a few mistakes he made, stupid justifications started flowing instead of just fixing his mistakes.
Long story short, I am looking for someone else. If you have no idea what you are saying, and you don't contribute something insightful yet you question guidelines all the time, you will be replaced.
Not to mention that the wage isn't small at all.
