Looking for feedback on our first online course entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hello r/Entrepreneur!

We recently completed the minimum viable product for our first online course and published on it Teachable. We're looking to talk with some people directly right now to get your honest feedback.

Here's a little information about the product:

Describe your business:

The online course is called BlogWinners and it teaches people how to create a successful and profitable WordPress.org website from start to finish. The course is video-based with worksheets and quizzes along the way.

The beginning of the course (which we're currently offering for free to generate leads and get people into the course) focuses on planning what to write about and setting up a "technical foundation for success" (web hosting, CDN, etc).

The bulk of our course focuses on creating content that is SEO rich, includes chapters on blog post structure, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and image optimization.

Once the website is set up technically and the student has some content, we teach them how to monetize their website so they can start generating revenue and turn the website into a profitable business.

We're confident this course will be successful because the methods we teach are ones that we actually use and have had success with. Every time we talk to people about the course, they're very interested and want to learn more.

However, the problem we're currently facing is actually getting the course in front of an audience.

Currently, we're offering the beginning of the course for free to get people in the door and we plan on publishing it on other platforms to get more exposure.

As I said earlier, we're looking for some honest feedback about our course and how we can improve our marketing strategies.

If there are any resources you'd recommend for newcomers in the online course market, we'd love to hear about them. We've also opened up a Google Hangout for people to come in and give us advice — we love talking one-on-one with people directly!
