I have read some guides on domain names, and the general advice is to keep it short, related to your product, and easy to remember (and stick to .com!!!).
But I was wondering what do you guys think of suggestive and hopefully funny (maybe slightly offensive to some?) domain names like:
suckonthese.com - maybe someone who sells straws
guyswithbigfeet.com - maybe basketball shoes or something
alloverherface.com - probably a beauty blog?
nicebigballs.com - yoga balls shop perhaps
Okay, those were some terrible ideas, but you know what I mean. These are just some examples off the top of my head. I don't own any of the above domains, and last I checked, they weren't owned or used, so I'm not self-promoting here in any way.
I'm assuming it largely depends on your type of audience and whether its appropriate, and of course it helps if its clever/funny, which I'm sure the above examples are neither to many people.
And while we're on this topic, what about domain names with straight out swear words on them?
