Software choice for upcoming SaaS user community? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi,

Please help me decide on software for our SaaS user community.

Our SaaS software is getting close to launch, and the last major thing to add is the community (user forum). There are only days left.

This community is important, especially since our free users are community supported and we will also post a lot of updates and free support in certain cases. Side note our platform is PHP/MySQL-based.

So here are our options:

• PhpBB. Simply install a PhpBB forum and use it. Pros: Ready to go, complex solution. Cons: We are worried about security and SSO (Single Sign On).

• Build an integrated support center into the platform. Pros: Custom approach, can be fully tailored in the future. Cons: difficult to build, and in the few days remaining it is close to impossible.

• Facebook Group: Pros: Dirt easy to setup and use. Cons: Hardly an efficient tool for such usage.

• Anything else? Maybe there are other solutions I don't know about.

I appreciate any advice in this matter from those who have already implemented something like this. Thanks!
