Hi Reddit, I need help with something that has spent countless hours (and even days) of frustration, and I want to warn entrepeneurs about Facebook ads service.
I have an online t-shirt business on Teespring. I started selling t-shirts because it was fun and a cool way to make money on the side. Nothing's been wrong, up until when I started advertising using Facebook. Here's my issue:
I made a shirt a month ago that followed Facebook's guidelines and was in no way shape or form, a violation or copyright infringement. After having my advertisement on FB rejected multiple times, I DID NOTHING and it still went thru.
Skip to today, June 28th, 2017.
I spent a week designing 5 new shirts for a niche market, and am super proud and excited to reveal them in my Teespring Storefront. I posted them on Teespring and FB, and even Instagram, and people where loving them! So I decided to trust FB again and advertise my shirts. All 5 were approved, then I reccieved an email from Teespring saying that my account was disabled for not following facebook's guidelines.
AGAIN, THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE SHIRTS. Everything followed the guidelines! Why would all 5 be approved and my account shut down? They are practically similar in design and concept. So I'm confused. So I emailed Teespring and FB, stopped my ads, and now am appalled at both sites for not having a real customer service. I keep getting emails and automated messages from a robot that say that my t-shirts "didn't follow guidelines"...again WHY??? And WHAT is the problem with them? Both sites ignore me with automated messages that take a day to respond. And I'm sitting here while Teespring takes all my money from my previous sales since my account is disabled.
I think this is false and a glitch in the system because all 5 of my ad campaigns were approved with no issue. I now had to pause all my ads because I was being charged money AFTER Facebook told Teespring to delete my account. I lost my business, teespring won't contact me, and all of Facebook's customer service are robots. I've ben sending emails all day yesterday without getting a response. I'm extremely saddened by this service because I love my business and can't believe it was taken away from Facebook because of my trust in their ads service. I've lost money since my Teespring account is disabled, which makes me question if this is a legal issue.
Please HELP, and be careful
