Concerns about the name of my business. entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

So I named my startup Apollius. It's an educational game development company and AI research company.

I asked some folks in freenode what they thought about the name and one of them addressed my worst fear about it: they can hear the word "appall" in it. (Others say it's all about "branding", etc) Now, I've already written much of the plot for Apollius the Game and have started building the game. I am pretty dedicated to the name Apollius.

But I hate the fact that people can hear the name "appall" in it. For what it's worth, the name was inspired by the name "Apollo" and "Kalzumeus". It started as a software consultancy I ran from home.

What do you all honestly think about the name?
