How to accommodate multiple languages on a site, and things to keep in mind for launching an msite? earn by blogging adsense income

Hey guys,

My friend has been working on a freelancing project, and I have been helping him some parts of SEO. However, there are 2 things that have stumped us, with the recent request that has been made. The guy has his website in India (a news website to be precise), and among his other requests, he has asked us for:

1. Help him make sure that the website can accommodate Indic languages (all the languages spoken in India, which are many)

2. Help him launch an msite for the website

I have some basic idea about the basic SEO things you need to keep in mind for msite, but nothing about multiple languages. Also, I have heard about Google AMPs, and mobile first being launched as early as 2018, and I want that to be something that we ensure gets taken care of for this. Some help here would be really appreciated. Any literature, or real world example, would also be welcome.
