Website is top of Bing rankings but 21st on Google earn by blogging adsense income

The Boston GAA website is the home of Gaelic games in Boston.

Previously this website was hosted at bostongaa.com but the domain expired and someone somewhere snapped it up and is now charging $500 for it

We then bought gaaboston.com and switched to using that domain name, and got all the main websites we know of to switch to this

Searching on Bing for "Boston GAA" correctly shows gaaboston.com as the top ranked item, but Google is still referencing the old site which is obviously for sale

Can anyone offer any advice on how we solve this issue?
