So the manufacturer is two states away and about 1700 miles. I only have a Nissan Leaf with a range of 80 miles so this is a problem. I also have a motorcycle that I could ride down. I have limited cash and would like to not spend a lot of money as I will need to buy a bulk order when the prototyping is complete. Also, I have a dog and he either needs to come with me or be boarded at a dog hotel which is about $30 a day so the trip would be $420.
I see a few options and I would really appreciate your input!
1: Sell my motorcycle or trade it for a gas car and drive down than live in the car for a week or two.
2: Fly down and stay in a hotel for 2 weeks
3: Sell my Leaf and Motorcycle and buy a cheap van and drive down and live in that.
4: Some random combination of the first 3 options.
5: An option that you thought of or did that is not like what I already listed.
6: Ride motorcycle down and live in a hotel for 2 weeks and put my dog in boarding.
