Seeking help: Should I continue or stop entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi

It took a lot of courage to finally post but here I go. I sincerely hope I am not violating any rules here.

I am at point of life where I am exhausted of my current demanding job. I am also facing some medical issues due to which I want to slow down. So, I want to invest my time and energy in some project which can be my source of income in couple of years

I started food & recipe blog in 2014. I have always enjoyed cooking, it is like meditation to me. At that time I was not very happy with life and going through difficult time so my boyfriend (now husband) encouraged me to take pictures of my cooking and start a recipe blog. It was a pleasant distraction and gave me a sense of purpose. Hence came http://ift.tt/2yY9oeu

I realized very soon that it was a lot of work; cooking, photography, editing, writing and marketing. With my job it became really difficult to blog timely. The thing is that I really enjoy cooking and I feel emotionally attached to my blog so I have never been able to completely give up on it. I work on it for few months then work becomes unbearable and I am slowed down. Also,I have around 2300 followers on Instagram (http://ift.tt/2iN6SDP) and I love the little community I have there.

Most importantly, I have only made $50 till now which is way disproportionate to the amount of effort I have put in.

Now that I want to do something other than the job I don’t enjoy, I am so tempted to again work on recipes, take good pictures and start blogging but I sort of know that I will burn out and abandon it again. I do not want all this effort to go in vain if I can do something else or start a different project which can help me monetarily.

I would really appreciate your feedback/advice. Do you think I should continue or it’s time. It will really help me to hear unbiased voice. Thanks you so much in advance. It means so much to me. (English is not my first language, please ignore spelling/grammar)
