Hi, Entrepreneurs. I'm a marketer and one of the tasks I worked on lately was price monitoring on a budget. Most solutions I've found were too expensive so I had to reinvent the wheel.
Here's what I did.

Took an SEO crawling tool with custom search settings (I've used Netpeak Spider).

Set it up to fetch data from certain place in page's code (where prices and product names are stored)

Crawled entire website to parse data from product pages
Total cost is $14/mo. There's also a 14-days free trial.
Crawling takes time and depends on how powerful your PC is. It takes me about 6 hours to crawl 300,000 pages on my laptop, it has 6Gb of RAM and an i-5 processor.
