Two hours ago, we received several emails informing us how our wordpress site was not loading and how it was loading again!
We thought of what could have caused it because the last time such a thing happened, it was due to some plugins we had installed and activated.
The Cause
Then,we logged into our site and were shocked to discover what had hindered the site from loading...our highest number of views so far!
Exactly 7,503 people had visited our site! We were so excited! Why? Before this time, the highest number of site views we had had in a day was 212! Hence, having an upsurge of over 7000 views in a day was quite remarkable for us! Here's the screenshot of the statistics.
The Build Up to The Upsurge
On the 25th of February, we purchased an email marketing package with SwiftDemand , a unique cryptocurrency that also doubles as a daily basic income.
The first batch of emails was sent today, and the upsurge in our site views is a direct outcome of the ongoing email campaign!
Also, for the first time, over 2200 people (2,278 to be precise) came to our site today through relevant search engine terms!
Although this result is yet to bring us sales, the opportunity for our site to rank better in search engine as the days go by is huge. And this will result in sales ultimately, we hope.
The Bottom Line
Now we believe, practically speaking, that email marketing is not dead!
