Rule of Thumb for Employee Pay (tutoring)? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I run a private tutoring business. My tutors travel to the home of the client- usually no more than 15 min away. If I charge $35, what's a fair cut to take? I'm thinking $10. And then for a $45 rate I'd take $13. Any ideas or good rules of thumb would be appreciated. Thanks!
