I run a website business with revenue in the $100k/yr range. Most of my traffic comes from word of mouth and have a conversation rate of around 3% for new visitors, which isn't bad.
I'd like to attract more traffic with social media, but don't really have the budget to pay a social media manager a monthly fee. I can however set up a system whereby I can track new visitors from my social media accounts and pay an attractive commission rate to someone who would run the accounts for me.
Has anyone heard of this sort of arrangement before? Is this common?
