I am a young business owner who owns a painting company in Canada. I have been in business now for 4 years and every year I travel abroad during the cold/boring Canadian winter and return in the spring to continue working on my business.
At this point I am ready to leave for good because I want to live in a warm country all year long. I want to start a business abroad such as a painting company in Australia or an outdoors adventure company somewhere tropical. But leaving my first business behind is hard of course. Working for someone else on a working holiday visa is starting to become out of the question because I simply want to be self employed.
I would like to hear from entrepreneurs who have left their business at home to create a new business abroad. What did you do?
