Am I allowed to ask SEO questions on this sub? Because I was wondering if Google SEO matters in freelance platforms earn by blogging adsense income

I'm just doing a video course on Lynda on CEO because I was curious to find the magic formula everyone claimed to be doing in terms of getting to the top of results (besides being higher level sellers). But with Google's tools offered with Adwords being extremely helpful for Google results, would it matter for a domain like Fiverr or People Per Hour?
