So I will start with a little background. I worked for a brick paver company for a few years and did all of the cleaning and sealing. I am experienced with the equipment and with pavers/travertine specifically. Also, I currently work for a brewery and earn enough to make a living. I am looking to use my free time(3-4 days a week) to supplement my income and save for future travels.
I will be specializing in driveways, patios and pool decks, including application of sealant. If there are any pressure washers out there I could use some advice on chemical washing concrete safely and effectively.
As for general business, I can't seem to get a straight answer online of how much money to put away for taxes. From the start I am looking to leave 75% of money earned in a business account just to build revenue for the company first.
I also need some advice on drafting contracts and tracking finances. I have been told that quickbooks can help with this.
