I am a european entrepreneur who is generating a decent amount of web traffic and wants to start selling insurance in the U.S. through a website. It looks though, as if that sector in the U.S. is highly regulated - and even if you have respected insurance companies that might work with you, you need a brokerage license etc. to even get started on a state level if you want to offer advice to customer which policy they should chose etc if I'm not mistaken.
Is there a good way to enter this market and collect commissions from the insurance companies without partnering up with a U.S. broker (who would likely not offer any value except to function as a conduit) and without taking a U.S. brokerage exam?
