Simply - I have a company, I have 1 (new- non original founding) partner who is branching out the company into a new vertical (social media advertising for clients). I am still heavily involved in the process of new client acquisition for that vertical, because selling is my strong suit.
I am still doing my normal day to day tasks, web development & design on a daily basis, trying to build a company and scale.
My question is, how should I pay this new partner, they were given 30% equity in the company when we agreed to partner up, with the agreement that they would build and manage the social advertising campaigns on our client side.
So we get a client for lets say 1k monthly - I'd pay an employee 20$ hourly, so .. do I give this partner $20 hourly for the work performed, then 30% o the profits as well?
When it was just me, it was much simpler, I basically just put all the money back into expenses and tried to scale my advertising budget.
Any reading material or tips here would be great.
