How long do you guys practise SEO before you got you're first client? earn by blogging adsense income

Hey Guys,

I first discovered SEO 2 years ago and from that time I start reading books, start developing pages and trying to get ranked with certain Keywords. I already managed to be at the 6th place in the SERPS, It wasn't the best keyword but it was a beginning.

I know SEO learning never stops, but I am just wondering how long you guys learn, try and analysed before you made your first SEO money.

No matte if it was for a client or if it was because your page had good SEO itself.
