what payment gateway to choose? (x-post from /r/startups) entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi!

im recently setting up my new startup and have been posed with the decision of which payment gateway to choose.

in my startup (www.uxmonkeys.com) we dont really need anything more than simple payment and, in the future, subscription system.

i have learned about stripe (http://ift.tt/2iJqJBC) but i need some insight on what benefits it provides vs traditional banks.

i have done my research on banks and they seem to offer exactly the same (albeit different taxation rates and such)

anyone could lighten me up? please?
