Help me market my local PC repair business entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hello Everyone, I need help. I am a serial wantrepenuer who has tried to start many online businesses and have failed miserably. I have tried to start an online engineering consultation company, went LTD. straight away and had moderate sales of <£5k. The particular sales channel dried up, the money had gone and I decided to try starting a graphic design subscription company. Long and short of that one is 0 sales.

So I have been thinking of what to start next, then whilst installing a full home theatre pc for a friend the idea hit me to start a local mobile pc / tech repair / consultation type business. I have been an IT administrator for the last 5 years across various companies and I've built computers for friends, configured systems for them, made repairs - all for the grand sum of £0.

So i set out to start a new business. The first step was the brand, being from the Sheffield area in the UK I have inherited the glorious Yorkshire dialect, and brainstorming ideas bought me to TechCharge! Playing on the yorkshire contraction of "take" to "tech". The tagline is ... "Let us take charge of you tech!" I have a website setup but I have no idea how to generate any paying customers. I have spread the word with all my friends and asked to pass on my information but I have still to receive a single call. I have also implemented a ticketing solution to keep track of any customer repairs and orders and this will also allow customers to submit tickets directly through the website.

My first issue I believe is social media, I have 0 social media presence and with that I mean personally and as a company. I do not invest any of my time in any form of social media (other than reddit obviously). I have had the idea to advertise in the local press, I am in the process of implementing this.

So my question to you is, do you have any suggestions on further marketing strategies? Can I really promote my new local business in this day and age without social media? Please, i'm completely lost!
