Focusing on optimizing for individual locations AND "loan officers" for mortgage company. Client's additional consultant believes that focusing on location optimization is a mistake, and instead should focus on optimization for individual staff.
For example: Currently optimizing for "mortgage company + city name" so that each individual location page and/or homepage shows up in search. In additon to this, we've more/less ranked all of the individual pages on the site so that searching an individual loan officers name gets them to show up within the first 10 results, usually number one.
Instead, consultant wants us to optimize each individual loan officer page, so "instead of just one location page showing up in search, we can have all 10 of the first page results filled with loan officeres"
Can you possibly optimize 10-20 pages on a site to show up for the same search term? (Almost a rhetorical question). How can I pass on the idea that "we can optimize and rank for EVERYTHING, instead of just one."
