What business should two college students start for $5000-$10,000 dollars? (Details inside) entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hey everyone! Longtime lurker here who just made a throwaway to ask this question.

A little background: Me and one of my friends are both entrepreneurially driven college students on full rides at our respective universities. Similarly, we both have managed to accumulate a decent (for college students) amount of money through scholarships, side-hustles, and savy investing/personal finance. We recognize that this is an immensely favorable position to be in and as such want to make the most of it (and gain experience) by starting a business.

Relevant skills and resources: Combined we have experience in social media marketing (leveraging 100k+ niche social media accounts for advertisements and promotions), youtube, general business strategy and personal finance/investing. Likewise, being college students we have access to an environment and multiple other students/friends skilled in various areas such as graphic design or development. We could also potentially raise more money through family/friends/network but would prefer not (as well as contribute more of our net worths).

We are currently looking into app development and eccommerce (a favorite here) as well as subsets such as fba, dropshipping, etc. We were wondering if anyone here could give us advice on possible business venture (such as what you would do if you were in our spot or were starting a business for $5/$10,000 or less?) or advice on any of the other previously mentioned ideas. We are in the process of learning as much as possible right now and would appreciate any advice, resources, or input!
