People are always looking for ways to start a new business, and here is an idea that does not require a lot of money. What I want to introduce is something like a photobooth, but more fun. The Camera360 software we built can make amazing bullet time videos and gifs with android smartphones or raspberry pi cameras, and you can rent it for parties, conferences and other events. You know that effect that the camera seems to freeze in time and rotate, right?

So, what is this Camera360?

Bullet time systems in general tend to cost a fortune because people use expensive professional cameras and the process of edition is very complicated. Camera360 does all the job with only one click: perfect alignment and colors, nice videos and happy clients. No need to buy DSLR cameras. Just get Android devices or RaspberryPis (US$35 each!) and get ready.

We built it exactly because we noticed how expensive the high end rigs are, and yet difficult to use. And we realized that we could have a product used by other companies instead of just making one system to rent locally.

Ok, but who is going to buy it?

You can sell the setup or rent per day. Here are some possible markets:

• Parties
• Conferences
• Exhibitions
• Art
• Parks
• 3D reconstruction (get objects in 3D to print them later)
• Fashion
• Underwater photos of sharks (ok, maybe not)

What do I need to get started? I'm not a rocket scientist

We made everything very easy to get started. You're going to need a computer, the Androids or Pis, a very good wifi router, and a mechanical structure to place the cameras (a metal ring is perfect). Install our software in the computer and the android/pi, place the cameras on the rig and you're set to go. Photos can be sent to a server on the web, and it's all automatic. We handle the webserver for you. You don't need to know how to write code, or how to setup complex systems. If you can setup wifi at your own home you have the expertise to run this.
