Okay so I’ve picked up a job for a week while I’m not busy in my other job. The job is basically calling business on behalf of a government scheme and asking them if they would be interested in doing come contracting work.
Now you would think with what we are offering being work that they have had to put in zero effort to acquire people would be happy but some people are quite the opposite.
I’ve had so many people hang up on me, or start ranting or asking how I got their number before I’ve even explained what we are offering. If they had just taken the time to listen for ten seconds they would’ve realised that I was giving them free business.
Another thing. If you are making an email for your business don’t make it a really long and complicated one. Make it short, related to your business and using real words so that people do not misspell it.
